Vajpayee's birth anniversary to be celebrated in Kullu

SHIMLA---Forest and Transport Minister Govind Singh said that the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be celebrated in Kullu on 25th December by organising various activities.
He said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will inaugurate the Atal Dusshera Sadan in Kullu on this occasion.
Govind Thakur said that Manali always remained second home to Vajpayee Ji and he had special attachment with Kullu-Manali. He said that people of Manali also loved him from the core of their hearts. He said that the Chief Minister has assured for constructing a memorial in the honour of this great leader at Prini and efforts will be made to construct it soon.
He said that Kavi Sammelan and cultural programmes will also be organized in which poems written by Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be recited. Various reputed poets would also pay tribute to Vajpayee Ji through their poetry.
