DHARMSHALA---Four candidates, including BJP nominee former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar, today filed their nomination papers for the Kangra Lok Saba seat which goes to polls on May 7.The total number of candidates now so far filed the nomination papers has gone to eleven.Today Shanta Kumar BJP candidate filed his nomination papers before the electoral officer C Palrasu here today. Atul Thakur and Bhopinder Mehra both filed their nomination papers as independent candidates today.Besides these three BSP candidate Raman Kumar also filed his nomination papers today
Shanta Kumar attacked Congress for not being interested t0o bring back the black money lying in the banks of Switzerland and other countries. Shanta said,” Lots of congress leaders have swiss accounts, including the account of former PM Rajeev Gandhi. This is why the Congress not acting positively to bring back 100 lack crore dumped there.” He said that a magazine recently published the names and account numbers of 20 such Indians ,Shanta Kumar said ,” The result of the Lok Sabha elections are already written on the wall ,and almost all the surveys are endorsing it. BJP is strengthening itself day by day and till May 16 it shall become the top most party of the country.” He said that this time there shall be the most powerful government of the country till date, which shall be lead by Narender Modi.
Shanta said , “ Our martyrs of independence struggle gave a pure and innocent country to our leaders ,but government like UPA has made such a India , which is now overpowered by Hunger, Corruption, weak leadership and a country terrified by Pakistan and China .” He said that Modi Government shall again fulfill the dreams of those martyrs.In response of the congress inquiry about the MPs fund of Shanta, he said, “I spent whole of rs 21 crore 44 lakh 94 thousand and 278 , including the bank interest in 756 schemes of the state. “ He said that there shall be straight fight in BJP and Congress ,and AAm AAdmi party stands nowhere in Kangra.Earlier Shanta Filed his nomination on Friday, as BJP candidate for Kangra seat at Dharamshala in a low Show off of Car-Cade, as he asked for just one car from each of the 17 assembly constituencies of the area to reduce expenditure.
