SHIMLA-----Launching a scathing attack on State BJP chief, Satpal satti,
Vice-Chairman, HP forest Corporation, Kewal Singh Pathania admonished
him for the unparliamentary language he used against the chief
minister, virbhadra singh and particularly against Rajinder Rana,
congress candidate from hamirpur as of late.
He said that it reflects the background of Satti and the atmosphere
in which he was brought up; otherwise he should not have used such
derogatory language. He said that on one hand BJP considers itself a
party of discipline and on other all its leaders were engrossed in
spitting venom against its opponents.
The congress leaders, especially the Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh
has never been so personal of the past of the candidates, but Satti,
who is the President of State BJP has stooped to the lowest ebb by
uttering such words which were uncalled for against the chief minister
and congress parliamentary candidate from Hamirpur.
Before issuing such a statement he should have gone through the past
life of narinder modi also.
Pathania alleged that why satti didn’t utter a word against Rajinder
Rana when he was a ‘blue eyed boy’ of former chief minister and now
when he was contesting the lok sabha on congress ticket why so he has
become bĂȘte noir of Dhumal. It has been a tendency of the BJP leaders
of the State to downgrade and use filthy language against its
opponents and one of its former MLA is in hot waters now-days for his
deleterious remarks against the chief minister.
Satti should remember that it was not street or student politics
wherein he can utter whatever he feels like, it is politics of higher
level and he has been assigned the responsibility of Chief of BJP and
he should behave in dignified manner. “His utterance reflects the
ideology of BJP and his cheap mentality” he remarked.
He warned satti to refrain from indulging into public life and
privacy of its opponents otherwise, if we were to expose the deeds of
state BJP leaders, the few candidates of BJP in fray would be ashamed
of themselves. He cautioned Satti on his remarks and said that such
statements were being forwarded to Election commission of India with a
request to ban entry of such leaders of BJP who were issuing
defamatory statements crossing all ethical limits out of frustration.
