PIB honours INA freedom fighter

Dehra- Soldier of second world war and Freedom fighter of Himachal Pradesh Pritivi Singh was honoured by Press Information Bureau Shimla Unit at the Bharat Nirman Jansuchana Abhiyan function at Shaid Bhuvneshwar Singh Ground at Dehra today.
Mr Prithivi Singh of Indian Natinal Army (INA) belonged from Dehra subdivision of Kangra district
.Himachal Pradesh food and Civil Supply Minister Ramesh Dhawala who was chief guest at this function felicitated the Prithavi Singh.The audience gave him standing ovation when he was being taken to the state by an escort.
Later Freedom fighter showcased his rarest medal and citations when people took keen interest on them. Octogenarian INA soldier did not get any pension from the Indian Army as he had rebelled British Raj Indian Army before joining INA. When a local youth reported in the PIC that Freedom Fighter was leading pathetic life conditions he was immediately invited with great honour in the function today.
Freedom fighter complained that he remained unsung for so many years' In charge of Press Information Bureau Rattan Lal Negi assured the veteran solider that he would bring his case in the knowledge union government.
PIB also honored relatives of two recipient of Mahavirchakra and a winner of Ashok Chakra
