Governor and CM express grief over Shimla bus accident

SHIMLA---Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have expressed grief over the death of three person including two school children in a bus accident that took place at Jhajhiri near Khalini in Shimla on Monday morning.
Two school children and driver of the bus lost their lives while six other sustained injuries in this tragic incident.
The Chief Minister visited the IGMCH, Shimla to enquire the well being of the injured and directed the medical authorities to ensure best treatment to them. He wished speedy recovery to the injured.
He said that an inquiry would be conducted to find out the cause of accident and remedial steps would be taken to check the re-occurrence of such incidents.
Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Mayor Kusum Sadrate, Chairperson, HP Red Cross Society Hospital Welfare Section Dr. Sadhna Thakur were also present with the Chief Minister on this occasion.
The Governor and Chief Minister have prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this loss.
