CM dedicates projects worth Rs. 27.50 crore in Bhoranj constituency

Lays foundation stone of Bhota sewerage scheme & inaugurates 132 KV Electric sub-station at Jahu

Hamirpur, 19 Feb (                      ) Chief Minister  Virbhadra Singh during the last leg of his three day tour to Bhoranj assembly constituency of Hamirpur district today laid foundation stones and inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 27.50 crore. He inaugurated 132 KV electric sub-station at Jahu completed with an outlay of  Rs.17.52 crore. This will not only solve the low voltage problem but will reduce the transmission and distribution losses besides providing  un-interrupted power supply to as many as  75 thousands  inhabitants of 50 villages of Bhoranj assembly segment and around 2.25 lakh population of 372 villages of Dharampur and Gopalpur areas of district Mandi. In all, population of around three lakh will get benefit of this 132 KV Sub station. MPP & Power Minister Sujan Singh Pathania welcomed the Chief Minister on the occasion.

Chief Minister also planted a sapling of 'Lichi' on the occasion.

He also laid foundation stone of sewerage scheme for Bhota town to cost Rs. 9 crore keeping in view the population till the year 2048. At present the scheme will benefit as many as 500 houses spread over an area of 1.15 square kilometres of Nagar Panchayat Bhota. The work on sewerage schemes of Sujanpur and Nadaun is being done on war-footing besides that of ward 11 of Hamirpur, said the Chief Minister. 

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone of additional block of government senior secondary school, Bhukkar in GP Bhukkar, to cost Rs. 75.52 lakh.

He also announced up-gradation of Government High School Amroh in GP Amroh  to Government Senior Secondary School.
