The Constitution Day was celebrated in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, today to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to honour and acknowledge the contribution of Founding Fathers of the Constitution. The Registrar (Vigilance), Sh. J.K. Sharma, read out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution in the presence of officers and official of the High Court.
Addressing the gathering, the Registrar (Vigilance), Sh. J.K. Sharma, credited the Constitution of India, for the progress of the country governed by strong, independent democratic institutions; and for creation of an ecosystem which provides meaningful freedom for realization of true potential of an individual. He further said the Constitution of India is unique because of its openness to diversity and commitment to social welfare of all.
Other Registrars S/Sh. Yogesh Jaswal, Registrar (Rules and Judges Branch), Paras Doger, Registrar (Judicial and Protocol), Jaswant Singh, Registrar (Administration), Madan Kumar, District & Sessions Judge (Leave/Training reserve), Davinder Chopra, Registrar (Accounts), and officers and officials of the High Court Registry remained present on the occasion and vowed to respect our constitution religiously.
