D C Kangra issued Emergency alert asking all the departments to remain on the high alert

Dharmshala-----Amid the incessant rainfall, the district magistrate Kangra has issued an Emergency alert asking all the departments to remain on the high alert as moderate to heavy rainfall is predicted for the next three days.. 

Dr. Nipun Jindal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Kangra has directed the head of the department to remain on high alert for the next five days and be available on their personal numbers 24/7. 

"Any information regarding loss or emergency call, whether through telephone or WhatsApp or any other medium should be treated on priority. Saving lives should be a top priority and any laxity in this regard will be viewed strictly under Disaster Management Act-2005," read order issue by Dr. Nipun Jindal. 

DC further urged the public to only leave their homes only in emergent condition and in case of any emergency report DDMA Kangra on 1077 or 01892-229050, 229051, 229052.
