Dharamshala Smart City shall be equipped with Intelligent and Barrier free bus shelters – Sarveen Chaudhary

Dharamshala Smart City will have all refurbished and new bus stops and shelters which shall have intelligent and barrier free system provisions. The Minister for Urban Development, Mrs Sarveen Chaudhary, said this in a press communique.
Minister further said that the Government is all geared up to start and accomplish all smart city projects within the time line and shall ensure an inclusive, participatory and citizen friendly smart facilities within the limits of smart city.
Under this particular project 28 new new bus shelters are being constructed from Bhagsu Nag uptoSidhpur. The existing 23 Bus shelters and 11 rain shelters will also be refurbished. This project has also been planned to cater to the places where there is constraint of adequate spaces as 42 bus poles are also included in this project, informed the minister for Urban Development. This work will start soon as the tendering work has been completed, and the total project cost is approximately nine crore rupees.
