Panna Pramukh Sammelan held at Kangra Parliamentary Constituency

Dharmshala-----            The National Highway Authority of India was executing four laning and other National Highway projects worth Rs 25,000 crore and about 16000 Irrigation Projects were being executing by the Union Government in the State to make Himachal Pradesh a most developed hill state of the Country. This was stated by Union Minister of Shipping, Road, Transport and Highways, Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Nitin Gadkari while addressing the Panna Pramukh Sammelan  of Kangra Parliamentary Constituency held at Chambi in Shahpur today in which over 35000 Panna Pramukhs of Kangra Parliamentary area participated.
Union Minister said that the BJP was not a Party of mother and son or of father and son. He said that BJP was a Democratic Party where anyone can occupy a top post in the party as the Party belongs to a common man. He said that Nationalism was the soul of the BJP and development of the nation was our religion. He said that for each BJP worker, unity and integrity of India was the sole objective. He said that it was due to the commitment of the BJP worker that today BJP was the biggest political organisation of the world. 
Nitin Gadkari said that the BJP Government at the Centre was committed for ensuring that the country not only emerge as Vishav Guru but every Indian lives a respectable life with ample opportunities to progress. He said that centre government during its almost five years of tenure has ensured that India emerges as a world power. He said that the State had only 1706 km National Highway but due to the centre Government today the State has over 7000 km National Highways. He said that the previous Congress Government in the State even failed to prepare DPR of National Highways sanctioned for the State.
Union Minister said that in order to ensure that this pace of development goes uninterrupted it was vital that Shri Narendra Modi once again becomes Prime Minister of the Country. He said that the next five years would ensure the pace of development would not only catch momentum but also ensure a strong and vibrant nation.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that it was the unity of the Himachal Pradesh to organize first TriDev Sammelan in the State which resulted in formation of BJP Government in the State. He said that similarly the State once again took lead by organising the Panna Pramukh Sammelan in the country. He said that this was the fourth Panna Pramukh Samelan being organized in the State. 
Jai Ram Thakur said that it was for the first time that the nation saw a strong and dynamic leadership at the Centre. He said that the country was emerging as the World Power under the strong and vibrant leadership of Narendra Modi. He said that the Country wants such a leadership for at least next ten years. Thus, it becomes duty of each one of us to support a strong leadership in form of Narendra Modi at the Centre, he added.
Chief Minister said that the Union Government has provided liberal financial assistance to the State, so that pace development of the State does not suffer due to requirement of funds. He said that today Nitin Gadkari himself was laying foundation stone of eight National Highway projects worth about 4500 crore. He said that this shows the benevolence of the Union Government towards the State. He said that developmental projects worth Rs 10500 crore have been sanctioned by the Union Government for the State.
Jai Ram Thakur urged the people of the State to give wholehearted support to the BJP so that the Nation gets a strong leadership in form of Narendra Modi. He said that this would also ensure that the pace of development in the State goes uninterrupted and unstopped. 
Former Chief Minister and MP Shanta Kumar while welcoming the Union Minister and the Chief Minister said that the present Central Government under the able and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ensuring that Himachal Pradesh becomes front runner State of the country  in matter of development. He said that the State had only 15 National Highways in the State, but today the State has 70 National Highways, which speaks of the benevolence of the Centre towards the State. He said that the new national highways sanctioned for the State would give big boost to the tourism development of the country. 
State BJP President Satpal Satti said that the people of State would ensure that all the four Lok Sabha seats of the State goes in the kitty of the BJP so that Narendra Modi once again becomes Prime Minister of the Country. He said that it was the duty of each Panna Pramukh to ensure that all the voters of his/her Panna(Page) vote for the BJP in the State. He said that over 35,000 Panna Pramukh from Kangra Parliamentary area were participating in Sammelan. 
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kishan Kapoor, Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary, Agriculture Minister Dr Ramlal Markanda, Health Minister Vipin Parmar, Deputy Speaker Hansraj, Incharge of Himachal Pradesh Mangal Pandey, Incharge of the State for Lok Sabha Elections T.S.Rawat, Former MP Kripal Parmar, MLAs, Organisation Secretary Pawan Rana, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of various Boards and Corporations, Former MLAs were present on the occasion.
