CM urges Union Minister to ensure early release of 14 Indians

SHIMLA----Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today had a telephonic conservation with Union External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj regarding bringing back home 14 Indians stranded in Saudi Arabia due to some visa problem. He said that according to reports 12 persons belonged to Himachal Pradesh and two from Punjab.

            He urged the Union Minister to personally take up the matter with Saudi Arabia authorities for their safe release who had gone to Saudi Arabia for earning their livelihood.

            The Chief Minister said that he has also written a letter to Susham Swaraj requesting her to ensure their safe passage to India at the earliest.

            Jai Ram Thakur assured the families of the stranded persons that state government would make all out efforts for bringing them back to home at the earliest. He said that Union Minister has assured him that union government would extend all possible help for their early evacuation.
