Advisory issued not to venture in high altitude areas


            Vijyender Sharma/ SHIMLA---The state government has issued advisory to the tourists and local residents of the state not to visit high altitude areas.

            Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal has urged the people not to visit the higher areas due to unpredictable snowfall and advised the people to stay away from such places.

            Additional Chief Secretary (PWD, Revenue & Disaster Management) Manisha Nanda has informed that three youth stranded in Holi area of District Chamba due to heavy snowfall have now been rescued.

             Manisha Nanda informed that stranded youths were rescued with the help of Indian Air Force helicopter on Monday. All the three youths have been rescued unhurt and admitted to hospital for precautionary checkup.
