Road Show of Shanta Kumar at Jawalamukhi

SHIMLA---Senior BJP Leader and Party Candidate from Kangra Chamba Parliamentary seat ,Shanta Kumar today while addressing mammoth gathering at Khundia Bus Stand near Jawalamukhi during his  impressive road show of Jawalamukhi Assembly constituency on last day of election campaign , charged the Congress-led UPA government for its failure to have good relations with the neighboring countries and added due to which the Army personnel from India are facing hardships. Their heads were also beheaded by the Pakistan Army personnel in the Indian Territory, he reminded. Despite this, he alleged that the Manmohan Singh government failed to take any action which demoralised the Indian Army. Shanta Kumar said that similarly China entered into Indian territory by violating all norms but the Indian government never registered any protest with UNO. BJP Leader said Congress remained silent against China due to which Indian Army could not take any action and added that during Atal Behari Vajpayee's regime, the BJP went ahead with Nuclear tests which gave a new fillip to the country by some foreign countries while the US stopped funds to India. Mr Vajpayee, undettered on the action taken by America, continued development under his regime, Mr Shanta Kumar reminded. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, the NDA would bag over 300 seats in the parliamentary polls making the Congress face the worst defeat since Independence. Shanta Kumar claimed that the BJP was gaining ground even in new regions including North-east, Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu."The electorate is clearly divided in pro-Modi and anti-Modi factions and the pro-Modi wave is so strong that Congress is desperately focusing on "Modi Roko campaign", he said, adding that Congress would not cross double digit in any state. He also stressed that BJP had deep concern for Himalayan states. Road Show of Shanta Kumar in presence of BJP State President of Punjab , Kamal Sharma and Former MLA of Jawalamukhi Ramesh Dhawala started early morning from Bari Kalan and entered in Lagroo, Baggi ,Surani . Khundian ,nahlian, Majhin and ended in Bharoli Village of Jawalamukhi.
