SHIMLA------As per reports reaching at State headquarters, 10 persons died and as many as 29 were injured in a bus accident occurred at Balghar curve near Theog in Shimla district today. The ill fated HRTC bus was on its way from Theog to Neri.
Governor Smt. Urmila Singh and Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh have expressed grief over the bus mishap and conveyed their condolences with the next of kin of the deceased.
Transport Minister Shri G.S. Bali while expressing his condolences announced Rs. 2.50 lakh to the kin of those who died in the accident and appropriate amount to the injured as per the relief manual. He said that a magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the mishap.
Irrigation and Public Health Minister Smt. Vidya Stokes also expressed grief over the bus mishap.
