UNA----Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national president and BJP candidate from Hamirpur Anurag Thakur today asked Virbhadra Singh that why he is silent about Rs 10 lakh crores swindled through various scams in last 10 years of Congress rule? If the money which went into the pockets of the Congress leaders would have been spent on development and welfare of people, country would have neither faced inflation nor unemployment.
He asked chief minister Virbhadra Singh what happened to the promise of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to rein in inflation in 100 days.
Anurag Thakur said that it’s the food inflation which has risen most in last 10 years and it hurts the people across the segment as people can scale down the usage of other commodities but not the food. Congress leaders will have to answer people on this issue. Anurag Thakur said that, in the state people aren’t getting subsidized ration and Congress leaders are busy printing their photographs on ration bags just for the free publicity.
Anurag Thakur said that Congress has historically always indulged in corruption and now they have become so thick skinned that they aren’t ashamed of corruption. Leaders of Congress from central level to the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh are indulged in neck deep corruption and CBI would be soon tightening the noose on Virbhadra Singh and he will have no option but to resign.
Anurag Thakur said that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government had left the government when the GDP growth was at 8.5 per cent but the dismal performance of the Congress government has brought it down to 4.5 per cent which has directly affected employment opportunities for the youth in the country. Congress leaders know that their misrule has badly affected the country and has caused so much of harm to the nation in last 10 years which never happened in the history still they are shamelessly going and asking for votes.
Anurag Singh Thakur said that Virbhadra Singh had promised unemployment allowance to the youth which he hasn’t given and now in the name of skill development allowance he is fooling the youth of the state.
Anurag Thakur said that even the Congress knows that there is no possibility of winning the polls hence it has given ticket to an outsider so that at least party’s reputation could be intact.
Anurag Thakur today toured Bhoranj and Kutlehar assembly constituencies and addressed public meetings in Bharedi, Jahu, Manvin, Jakhyol, Khutdi, Ladraur, Paroiyan, Raipur, Tihra, Hatli, Arlu, Dolu, Sihana, Chamedi and Daroh .
