SHIMLA--------Congress Candidate for Mandi Parliamentary Constituency SmtPratibha Singh has campaigned in three villages.,Ghar, Serobagh and Naggar , which falls under Kullu Assembly Constituency. The villagers especially women’s from these villages have participated in large number.

Addressing at the rallies SmtPratibha Singh said that UPA Govt under leadership of Smt Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh have provided livelihood opportunities to different sections of people like Women, Youth, Senior Citizens and Children. She said that the Centre government has provided huge funds for strengthening health care system in rural areas under National Health Rural Mission. She also said that under Rajiv Gandhi AanyaYojgna Scheme Rs.2.00 per kg Rice and Rs.3.00 Wheat is given to BPL card holders.

While informing her contribution to MandiLokSabha Constituency SmtPratibha Singh said; “after winning bye-election last year I have persuaded with Union HRD Minister and managed to bring IIT for Mandi constituency.  I met Union Tourism Minister Dr.K.Chiranjeevi and requested for Tourist Circuit for Kullu, upon my request he has sanctioned Mega Tourism Circuit to Kullu, which is worth of Rs.33 crores”.

She also said that with her persistent efforts Union Labour Ministry has sanctioned ESI Medical College at NerChowk in Mandi. She has mentioned that Central Government has sanctioned Rs.139 crore for the development of drinking water system in rural areas.

Travelling long distance in the interior villages of hilly areas SmtPratibha Singh has appealed to the people of the constituency to cast their valuable vote for the Congress Party which contributed to the overall development of the Himachal Pradesh.
