leaders of the BJP have lost their mental stability

Shimla --------Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said that it seemed that the leaders of the BJP have lost their mental stability as time and again they were alleging that if BJP is voted to power in the centre, the congress Government in Himachal Pradesh and other congress ruled states would be overthrown. He said that it seems Mr. Dhumal and his coterie have lost their mental stability and had no knowledge of the Constitution of the country and advised them to get themselves checked properly and thoroughly. Chief Minister was addressing election rally at Theog , falling under Shimla Parliamentary constituency here today. He said that the congress party had maintained the rule of law in the country. He said that the leaders of BJP in the state were used to unnatural tactics but it won’t be of any use to them. He said that there was no need of adopting the Gujarat Model for the country as being alleged by BJP bigwigs, completely forgetting that they were many other states in the country which were far more advanced and developed than Gujarat. Himachal Pradesh was far better a much more developed State than Gujarat and ranks second in literacy after Kerela in the country, which means that people of Himachal were far more educated and more developed. He said that the BJP leaders of Himachal Pradesh were not able to judge and see that Himachal was a developed state and were bent upon adopting Gujarat Model.

Taking a Jibe at the BJP Virbhadra singh said that “ It would be better if we send Dhumals to Gujarat as they were not able to witness the development of Himachal and were forgetting that the needs of States with different topography were different and not applicable alike for all states”. 

Chief Minister said that the congress party has a long cherished of 127 years and out of his political experience of  more than 50 years he can foresee that the way BJP was spending huge sum of money to woo the voters, it was likely to be a threat for the democratic set up in coming times. CM said that every person had different  type of problems  and to solve them was not possible in a short span of time. No party or person was capable of solving the varied problems at once. However, the congress party was the only party in the country which had solved many intricate and    complex problems faced by the Nation in the interest of the people.

He blamed that BJP was seeking votes in name of Modi, whereas Congress party was  asking for votes in the name of development. “It means it was clear that the BJP does not  have any agenda nor any issue to claim votes”, said he, adding that foreseeing the win of Congress party on all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh the BJP leaders seemed to be perplexed and issuing baseless statements.  

He said that he was sure that UPA will again form the government at the centre and the dream of the Modi want fructify.
