DHARAMSHALA: A three-day workshop for Tibetan school librarians is being held at the House of Peace and Dialogue, Upper TCV school in Dharamshala. Twenty-two school librarians from 10 Tibetan schools across India are participating in the workshop, organised by the Department of Education (DoE), Central Tibetan Administration.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Ngodup Tsering, Secretary of the Department of Education. Mr. Tsering Phuntsok, Education Officer also attended the session. Other dignitaries present at the inaugural session include Mr. Tashi Topgyal, Additional Secretary (DoE), Sonam Dolkar Samkar, Education Director (TCV), Mr. Ngodup Wangdue, Director and Mr. Namdol Tashi, Principal of Upper TCV school.
The resource persons for the workshop are Ms. Sujota Noronha and Ms. Usha Mukunda. The workshop will conclude on 19 April.
