Shimla--Smt. Manisha Nanda, Principal Secretary, Tourism and Civil Aviation today said that in order to attract the national and international tourists, the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh is going to start the 'Unforgettable Himachal' promotional campaign in the FM radio and TV channels.
The campaign in FM Radio would be run in Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Gujrat States on Radio Mirchi and Big FM channels in Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad stations and jingles would be prepared in Tamil, Kannada and Gujrati languages. In addition, visual campaign would be launched in CNBC channel for Asia and European countries, she added.
She said that the promotional campaign would also be aired in Star Plus and Zee TV during prime time. She also informed that cookery classes for women will be organised with the help of IHM, Kufri and HPTDC. During the summer season the department would also organise a 'Best Hat' competition event, she added.
