CM thanks Prime Minister for taking historic decisions in first Cabinet Meeting

Chief Minister said that decision to implement Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna to all the farmers of the country would go a long way in achieving the target of doubling the farm income of the farming community by 2022. He said this decision would benefit over 14.5 crore farmers of the country. He said that lakhs of farmers of the State would also be benefitted under the Yojna. He said that under this scheme all farmers of the country would get Rs. 6000 every year.
Jai Ram Thakur said that in its efforts to provide universal social security Pension, Prime Minister has taken another historic decision by approving Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, which assures all shopkeepers, retail traders and self-employed persons a minimum monthly pension of Rs. 3000 per month after the age of 60 years. He said that this would be one of the largest pension schemes of the world.
Chief Minister have also appreciated the decision of the Union Cabinet to extend and enhance the scholarship scheme for the children of central armed forces to the wards of State police personnel who lay down their lives in Naxal and terrorist attacks.
