Jawalamukhi ----Sarswati Bal Bharti High School at Jawalamukhi on Sunday organized its annual prize distribution-cum-cultural function.
ASP Kangra, Dinesh Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion. The Program commenced with lightning of ceremonial lamp and 'Sarswati Vandana' by the chief guest. Songs, one-act play, choreographies, poems, giddha and bhangra items were presented by students, which were the main attractions of the function.
Ms Razia Begum Principal read out the annual report of the school. Trophies were presented to those students who did well in academics, sports and co-curricular activities.
Speaking on the occasion, the ASP Dinesh Kumar congratulated the prize winning students, adding that alongside academics, the sports and other co-curricular activities go a long way in all round personality development of the students. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Suknaya Sharna. She congratulated the staff and students on successful completion of the Annual Function.
