Government to ensure supply of ration through helicopter: CM

SHIMLA----Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while presiding over a meeting held here today informed that the supply of ration and other essential commodities for Bara Bhangal in district Kangra would be ensured through government helicopter as the pedestrian path between Bara Gaon to Bara Bhangal had been damaged due to heavy rains.
The Chief Minister said that three to four sorties will be held in a day so that the people of the Bara Bhangal could get adequate essential commodities. He asked the MLA of Baijnath Mulkh Raj to personally monitor the entire process.
Jai Ram Thakur said that if the helicopter flights were not matured due to unfavorable climatic conditions, the supply of essential items will be ensured through mule route from Patlikuhal.
The Chief Minister asked Deputy Commissioner Kangra to restore the damaged path on priority so that people did not face any inconvenience.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kishan Kapoor, MLA Mulkh Raj, Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhary, Director Food Supplies Madan Chauhan, Managing Director Civil Supplies Corporation S. S. Guleria and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
