Conference on zero budget natural farming at Shimla

SHIMLA----- The Agriculture Department is organizing a conference on zero budget natural farming at Shimla on 8 August, 2018. Governor Acharya Devvrat will be the chief guest on the occasion while Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over the conference.
A Spokesperson of the Agriculture department said here today Padmashree Subhash Palekar will have a detailed discussion with farmers on zero budget natural farming during the conference.
He said that the state government has launched "Prakritik Kheti, Khushal Kisan Yojana" to encourage natural farming in the state. Under this scheme, a provision of Rs. 25 crore has been made for providing necessary equipments and trainings to the farmers.
He further informed that all the Ministers, senior officers of State Government, farmers from all districts and officers of Horticulture and Animal husbandry will attend the conference.
