Chief Minister congratulates specially abled students for qualifying NET

SHIMLA—Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated visually impaired students of H.P. University, Shimla, Muskan (MA Music), Anuj Kumar (M.Phil Economics), Ajay Kumar (MA History) and Vinod Sharma and Jasbir Singh Lubana (MA Political Science) for qualifying recently conducted National Eligibility Test (NET).
He also congratulated Priyanka Thakur, law student and Satish Kumar Thakur, Political Science student for qualifying NET.
Chief Minister said that it was for the first time that five visually impaired students have qualified NET from the State.
He said that these students have once again proved that physical inability cannot be an obstacle for achieving success through hard work and commitment.
While congratulating the successful students, Chief Minister said that the State Government was committed to provide all possible help to these students. He also wished the students a bright and glorious future.
Chief Minister also lauded the role of Nodal Officer of specially abled students Prof. Ajay Srivastava of H.P. University.
