Commission to register NGOs working for cause of women

SHIMLA--- H.P. State Commission for Women has asked all the District Programme. Officers (ICDS) to submit the list of such NGOs/voluntary organizations in their respective district registered under Society Act, 2006.
The organisations should be registered under H.P. Societies Registration Act, 2006 for at least last three years and working for the upliftment of women or championing the cause of women empowerment or helping the women in distress. Besides, they should have a clean track record and there should be no case registered against NGO or its any member. They should also preferably have audited accounts for at least last three years.
