SHIMLA----The High Court of H.P. today directed the state to file reply within six weeks in a matter pertaining to illegal parking on the both sides of the road at Dingu Dhar area in Sanjauli, Shimla. The court also issued directions to the authorities not to allow any kind of illegal parking on the said road.

A Division Bench comprising the Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Justice Sandeep Sharma passed these orders on a petition filed by Gaurav Sharma who have alleged in the petition that the road from Sanjauli Bazar to Tibetan colony via Numberdar Chowk is wide enough for even mini truck to pass through conveniently, but the said road is being mis -utilized by some of the residents by using the same as a parking zone.  The mischief and nuisance reaches its peak at night hours when the vehicles get parked in such a manner that it becomes impossible for vehicles to cross which creates a hurdle in reaches of ambulances if the same are required at night. The petitioner has prayed to issue directions to the concerned authorities to prevent haphazard parking on the both side of the road and to take action against the wrongdoers.
