SHIMLA---Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was on Thursday reportedly quizzed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with alleged disproportionate assets case.
The CBI on June 18, 2015 initiated a preliminary inquiry against Singh and his family over allegations of corruption and acquiring disproportionate assets during his tenure as Union Steel Minister. However, the Himachal CM refuted the allegations.
In November 2015, the ED registered a case under the PMLA at its New Delhi office against Virbhadra Singh and his family members.
