CM mourns demise of Balram Jakhar

SHIMLA----  Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Balram Jakhar, who passed away today after a brief illness at New Delhi.

            In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Shri Balram Jakhar was a man of action and worked dedicatedly for the welfare of the common man.  He was a true messiah of farmers and agriculturalists and encouraged scientific techniques in agriculture to improve the economy of farmers.

            The Chief Minister said the contributions of Shri Jakhar in automation and computerisation of parliamentary works could not be forgotten. The void created by his death cannot be filled.

            The Chief Minister prayed to almighty for peace to the departed soul and strength to family members to bear the irreparable loss.
