Shimla--A Spokesman of the Education Department has asked the JBT trainees, interested to pursue their training to give in writing by 15th June, 2010 to the concerned Principal of DIET institution, so that Government could take appropriate decision for carrying out their training.He said that the trainees who had joined their training classes on 10th June, 2010 and were not involved in any agitation would continue their training.The Spokesman said that the keeping in view agitation and violation of law and order, the State Government has taken a decision to suspend the training of those JBT trainees of 2008-10 batch till further orders, who failed to join their training in their respective institutions despite notice by the Government to join the training sessions by 10th June, 2010. He further said that in view of suspension of training sessions the hostels of these institutions would also remain closed till further orders.The spokesman appealed to the parents of JBT trainees to take their children with them due to suspension of training and the Government would not be responsible for any mishap due to agitation.He said that the Government had already clarified that the JBT trainees of 2008-10 batch would be provided job on contract basis after completion of their training as discussed in the meeting with Principal secretary, education earlier.
