• work that could not be done in 60 years of the Congress rule, was done during the seven-year tenure of the Modi government
• Despite doubts raised by the opposition parties over covid vaccines, about 96 per cent of the population has received the first dose
Chamba, India's internal and external security is the priority of the Narendra Modi government, BJP State incharge Avinash Rai khanna said while attending a gram kendra pramukh sammelan in chamba.
"Internal and external security of the country is our priority. We have been saying from day one that nationalism is our goal. We want this nation to become happy, prosperous and powerful. We have worked with this idea to make India free from fear, hunger, terror and corruption. So today all our borders are safe," khanna said.
"If you look at the history of 60 years of the Congress rule and the seven-year tenure of the Modi government, then it will come to the fore that the work that could not be done in 60 years of the Congress rule, was done during the seven-year tenure of the Modi government," he said.
He said we all know what was the situation before 2014. Planes used to be hijacked, there were bomb blasts that claimed lives of innocents and jawans were martyred.
"Other nations used to encroach our lands or intrude. Enemy nations who used to intrude our lands, today they can't enter our borders. We should welcome such leadership. Since the Modi government has come, the world is looking up to India. It is PM Modi who has established BJP as the world's largest party," he said.
Congress is a political party that is funded by enemies of our great nation.
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership on the completion of one year of the Covid-19 vaccination drive in India, Avinash Rai khanna said India was the fastest nation in the world and so far more than 150 crore doses have been administered, India has set a record in the vaccination drive.
He said Despite doubts raised by the opposition parties over vaccines, about 96 per cent of the population has received the first dose, he said, adding that it shows people's faith in Prime Minister Modi and his leadership.
He said that inspite of difficult times during the Covid-19 pandamic himachal has performed well under the leadership of chief minister Jairam Thakur. The development of himachal did not stop under these conditions and now when the situation is getting better you can very well imagine how himachal will progress.
He said we are heading towards mission repeat and there is no power that can stop us.
