More than 1200 grievances and demands received during Jan Manch organised in eight districts

Shimla-----The Jan Manch programme was organised in eight districts of state today in which 1218 demands and complaints were received. Jan Manch in Mandi district would be organised on 16 February and in Kangra district on 19 February.

Prior to todays Jan Manch,  157 Jan Manch have been organised in the state benefitting people of 1330 Gram Panchayats. During this period 46801 complaints and demands were received out of which 42730 have been redressed.  About 8000 families have been benefitted under Beti Hai Anmol scheme through Jan Manch in the state. In addition to this 6,74,013 digital ration cards were distributed and 73,501 families were given benefit under Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna.  During this period 1,98,331 Jan Dhan accounts were opened, 51,186 pregnant women were registered and vaccinated, social security pension was given to 2,42,756 eligible beneficiaries,  general health check up of 70,337 people was done and 8363 mutations were registered besides issuing 46038 different certificates.
