Prime Minister has taken many historic decisions such as abolishing to Article 370

DHARAMSHALA- 12 October, 2019   ----------------    While addressing a largely attending election rallies at Bagli and Tung Mela Ground at Dharamshala today in favour of the BJP Candidate  from Dharamshala for the by election, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur urged the people of Dharamshala to vote young and hardworking Vishal Neharia.
     Chief Minister said that today the nation was strong under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as world has now acknowledged India as a super power. He said that Prime Minister has taken many historic decisions such as abolishing to Article 370 which was the root cause of the spread of terrorism and anti national activities in the Valley. He said that today even the Congress Party stands divided of the Article 370 as they also feel that it was a biggest impediment in the path of development of the State. He said that this would open a new era of peace, progress and prosperity in the Jammu Kashmir area and it would develop leap and bound under the dynamic leadership of a Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 
    Jai Ram Thakur said that the Congress leaders were not able to digest the development in the State as well as Centre under the BJP. He said that the double engine has accelerated the pace of development which was making Congress leaders confused as they have nothing to say against the Government. 
           The Chief Minister said that the BJP has given tickets to young leaders in the by elections in Dharamshala as well as in Pachhad. He said that the Government want to ensure that the pace of development goes uninterrupted thus urged the people to support and vote BJP candidates in both the seats. He said that the BJP candidate from Dharamshala was young and energetic and was committed for development of the area.
      Jai Ram Thakur said that it would be a matter of pride for the people of Dharamshala as they would have one Member of Parliament and one MLA from their area. 
      The Chief Minister said that the state government during this period has implemented several decision which were bound to transform the economy of the people of the State. He said that Jan Manch programme launched by the State Government has been appreciated even by the political opponents. Similarly, the very first decision of the state government to lower the age limit of senior citizens for availing old age pension without any income criteria from 80 years to 70 years have benefitted over 1.30 lakh senior citizens, he added. He said that now the 1100 Chief Minister Helpline was proving a boon to the people of the state for redressal of their grievances. 
     As many as twenty one families joined BJP on the occasion.
