SHIMLA----  The Newly appointed Chairperson of Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Women, Dr. Daisy Thakur called upon Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur here today.

            She also expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for entrusting her with the responsibility for protecting and promoting the interests of women besides acting as a watchdog and guardian for women empowerment.
