Himachal Governor calls on Uttrakhand Chief Minister

SHIMLA---Governor Acharya Devavrat called on Chief Minister, Uttrakhand Shri Trivendra Rawat at his official residence at Dehradun, today. It was a courtesy call. He congratulated him on appointing as the Chief Minister of the State and hoped that Uttrakhand would progress more under his leadership.
He said that Uttrakhand and Himachal States have similar topography and challenges and added that both the states have close cultural bonding. He hoped that the States could work in close coordination particularly in the field of agriculture and horticulture for the development of farming community. He also advised him to work for adopting zero budget natural farming. He also discussed various development issues.
It was the first visit of the Governor to Dehradun after assuming charge as a Chief Minister of Uttrakhand by Shri Rawat.
