CM honours travel photographer Vinod Chauhan

SHIMLA---Vinod Chauhan, a local lad hailing from Baghi in Kotkhai area of Shimla district, who is 12th in ranking amongst the world's best traveler photographer, called on Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh at shimla  today.

            Shri Chauhan, who has exhibited his photography work in 43 countries, has been ranked 12th in worlds Top Traveler Photo Exhibitor (Digital) in Photographic Society of America (PSA), list of Who's Who in photography. He participated in international photography competitions held by PSA and the International Federation of Photographic Art.

            The Chief Minister evinced keen interest in the photographs of Shri Vinod Chauhan who is the first North Indian to be honoured by Associate International Colleague Society, (AICS), Honorary International Union of Photographers (HIUP) Elite International Union of Photographer's (EIUP) and Associated Federation Internationale D L'Art Photographique, Belgium.

            Shri Virbhadra Singh also honoured Vinod Chauhan and signed his masterpiece Horse Race Photograph, of Mangolia, to be displayed in world competition of photography. The Chief Minster also lauded him for his photo of Hatu Peak (in Shimla district) titled, 'A divine Starry Night' which he gifted to the Chief Minister.

            Shri Virbhadra Singh wished him the best in future adding that he had made Himachal proud through his photography.

            The Chief Minster also congratulated him for having eight distinctions in last nine months and for having being crowned with over 150 international and national awards,

            Vice- Chairman, HPTDC Shri Harish Janartha introduced the photographer to the Chief Minister.
