No Modi Wave in Himachal

Vijyender Sharma
Shimla-- Himachal Congress President Thakur Sukhwinder Singh  dismissed the presence a Narendra Modi wave in Himachal Pradesh and said that the party will win all four Lok Sabha seats in the state.
"I would not like to speculate...but can say with confidence that the Congress would win all four seats," the Congress Party President, told reporters at Electricity Rest House Jawalamukhi.
Reiterating the demand for a probe into crores of rupees being allegedly spent on the BJP's election campaign, Mr Thakur said the Election Commission should initiate a thorough enquiry into it."For the first time in the electoral history of India, a party has sought votes in the name of a leader which is a serious threat to our multi-party parliamentary democracy."
"The Congress party has had towering leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shashtri and Indira Gandhi but we never sought votes in their names and instead urged the voters to vote for Congress," he added.
