Virbhadra Singh was not a nominated member

Shimla ------Cautioning BJP leaders of the State about their outbursts against Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh and their hollow claims of dethroning the Congress Government after 16 May, Vice chairman of HP forest corporation Kewal Singh Pathania in a communiqué issued here today said that Virbhadra Singh was not a nominated member, but an elected representative of the people who gave him huge mandate and chosen him as Chief Minister of the State for the record six times.

Taking a jibe at BJP leaders he said that they should stop ‘day dreaming’ and misguiding the people. “The people of the State were wise enough and well aware of the provision of the constitution and will not fall prey to the propaganda of BJP leaders” he said.

 “It appears that BJP leaders were afraid of the ongoing investigations against them and now have adopted the modus operandi of lying between the masses and giving unfounded statements and hate speeches against their opponents and to vilify  the image of chief minister” alleged Pathania.

It has become habbit of BJP leaders to think and talk on divisive lines and indulge in mudslinging to save their own misdeeds. Today BJP was raking up issues like corruption, unemployment, inflation etc, but they should not forget that the inflation was 9.0 percent during their last year of regime of BJP which was brought down to around 7.3 percent since the congress came to power, said he, adding that the land mafia was at high during BJP regime as land worth crores was sold to outsiders or given on lease money of Rupee one to HPCA and Pitanjali Yog trust, besides bemloe construction case was also haunting them, and in desperation they were trying to hide the facts from the pople of the State.

He said that BJP besides this there was large scale degradation of eco-system and illegal land mining was at its peak. “The misdeeds of BJP have boomeranged upon them and getting perplexed over the same they were targeting upon irrelevant issues”, said he. Apart from this 80,000 youth were proposed to be covered under Skill Development Allowance Scheme this year and Job opportunities were created in each and every department, added he.

The BJP was dreaming of grabbing power but their dream will not materialize till the time Virbhadra Singh enjoys the support of the people of the State.
