JAWALAMUKHI ---Sanjay Rattan, Jawalamukhi MLA on Saturday while addressing election rallies in Support of Congress Candidate Chander Kumar at Bohan bhati , sakryalu and khaula area of Jawalamukhi assembly segment said that the UPA Government had brought vast development during its 10-year regime and the Congress was campaigning on development as its main poll plank for the General Election. He said that the Right to Information (RTI) Act and the National Food Security Act were the landmark achievements of the UPA government. He said the state government under the able Leadership of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had achieved new milestones of development in various fields such as skill-development allowance to unemployed youths, roads network, education and health services during a small period of one year. He further added that the Virbhadra Singh was not a nominated member, but an elected representative of the people who gave him huge mandate and chosen him as Chief Minister of the State for the record six times.Taking a jibe at BJP leaders he said that they should stop ‘day dreaming’ and misguiding the people. “The people of the State were wise enough and well aware of the provision of the constitution and will not fall prey to the propaganda of BJP leaders” he said.“It appears that BJP leaders were afraid of the ongoing investigations against them and now have adopted the modus operandi of lying between the masses and giving unfounded statements and hate speeches against their opponents and to vilify the image of chief minister” alleged Sanjay.The BJP was dreaming of grabbing power but their dream will not materialize till the time Virbhadra Singh enjoys the support of the people of the State. During the public rallies, Rajender Singh Block President , satya Paul sharma Secretry and Bhawani Dutt Shastri highlighted the achievements of the UPA and State Government .
