Notification regarding Sujanpur bye-election issued

SHIMLA----State Chief Electoral Officer Shri Narender Chauhan disclosed here today that the Election Commission of India has today issued notification for the bye election to 37-Sujanpur Assembly Constituency. He said that as per the notification the last date for making nominations has been fixed for 19^th April, 2014. He said that nomination would be scrutinized on 21^st April, 2014 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature has been fixed for 23^rd April, 2014. If necessary, polling would be held on 7^th May, 2014 from 7A.M. to 6 P.M, he added.

He said that the whole electioneering process would be completed on 28^th May, 2014.
