SHIMLA----Welcoming the decision of High Court for banning Yog camps of Baba Ramdev in Himachal Pradesh, Industries Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri said that Baba Ramdev had became more of a political guru rather than a yogi. He said that as the election were nearing Baba Ramdev taking   advantage of Yoga camps was advocating to vote in favour of BJP candidates all over the country. Moreover, his comments against Rahul Gandhi and on Dalits shows that Ramdev was dividing the people on basis of caste and religion and was speaking the language of BJP and RSS, said the minister. He said that Ramdev projects himself as secular but Ramdev’s ostentatious remarks, ‘Rahul doesn't wants to marry a 'desi' girl, however, he likes going to Dalits places for picnics and honeymoons." reveals of his communal mindset and has drawn flaks from all quarters. “He has hurt the sentiments of dalit community all over the country. The minister said that the Election Commissions decision to cancel his Himachal Pradesh campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party was a welcome step and further the decision of the High Court has also come at appropriate time.

“Ramdev should either mend his ways or stop airing rumours” said Agnihotri. He said that Ramdev should explain that what he means by ‘picnic and political honeymoon’. “Why he used the same remarks against the congress party and particularly against vice-president of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Rahul Gandhi” questioned Agnihotri. He said it clearly reveals that Ramdev is an agent of BJP and tout of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and appears to be more of a politician.” The minister advised him to concentrate on Yoga and refrain from making derogatory remarks against the congress leadership”. “If he really wants to do politics he should leave Yoga and seek ticket from BJP instead of campaigning for them under the saffron flag” said the minister.

 “On many occasions Baba Ramdev says that he is not interested in politics, then for what reason he was sharing stage with BJP leaders and holding Press conferences and urging the people to vote in favour of BJP” asked the minister. Ramdev should seek unconditional apology from the people of the country said the minister.
