Pilgrimage for Pakistan

SHIMLA---A spokesman of the State Government said here today that Government of India had intimated that a Jatha of 3000 Sikhs/Sehejdhari pilgrims were going to Pakistan on the occasion of 'Baisakhi' and they would be visiting various historic Gurudawaras situated there. The 10 day visit was starting from 10th April 2014 to 19th April, 2014. The quota allotted to Himachal Pradesh is for 15 pilgrims. The last date for receiving the applications by the Government of India after verification from State Government is 28th February, 2014.
All intending Sikh Pilgrims are requested to submit their applications on or before 10th February, 2014. They can apply on plain paper indicating complete name, address, contact numbers including mobile numbers and attaching attested copies of the Passport and bonafide certificates, which should be delivered to Shri D.K. Manta, Deputy Secretary (Home) in Room No. 106, Armsdale Building, H.P. Secretariat, Shimla-2. The application received after 10th February, 2014 shall not be entertained.
