Kolkata: Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha’s national President Anurag Thakur has said that Kashmir problem is a historic blunder of Congress and the whole nation is paying the price of its consequences. The root cause of this problem is Article 370. The divisive lines in Kashmir will be vanished shortly if this article is abolished. The solution to this problem lies in the constitutional framework and not on the religious lines, he opined.
He stressed on the need to rehabilitate The Pandits as the first step towards the solution of the problem. He said that there was an urgent need to allay the mistrust created among The Kashmiris due to wrong policies of Omar Abdulla and Congress government.
The proposed “Rashtriya Ekta Yatra” from Kolkata to Kashmir is aimed at creating harmony and brotherhood among the people and it will be a milestone for the integrity and Unity of the Nation. Despite the efforts by a section to create a controversy the youth of this country are enthusiastic about this Yatra. This neo-power will win over the destructive powers, he stated.
The BJYM president alleged that a particular section living within India has always protested every effort of national integration, the history is witness to this fact. But this is also a truth that such forces could not succeed in their ill designs. This is why the solution to the Kashmir could not be found although the efforts to cut it from India were also failed miserably. Congress is mainly responsible for the Kashmir problem .If the then Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru would have taken appropriate steps for the proper accession of Kashmir this problem would not have been grown into a cancer. They messed it in such a way that it cannot be solved even after 60 years. Despite that the Congress is engaged in repeating the same mistake as it had committed in 1947, he said. Thakur warned The Congress party to stop using Kashmir for its petty political aims as it was the duty of the Government to ensure the national sovereignty and Congress is the party at the centre. Charging Congress of acting against the law of the land Mr. Thakur said that instead of making efforts to solve the Kashmir problem from its roots the ruling party is creating new problems. The negotiators appointed by the central government are speaking the language of separatists. It see me like that there is no solution out of the effort made by central government because government attitude is neither positive state security nor in the matter of security personals. The main objective of this movement by BJYM to provide integrity and strength to the nation. Opponent to this March (Movement) knows very well that if youth become aware of the Kashmir issues, they will lose the political ground. That is why they are creating controversies on the march and trying to give it a political colour.
