JawalaMukhi March 3—JawalaMukhi Police booked Harish Kapoor,State Genral Secretry of Youth Congress alongwith eight others in a criminal case of attemot to murder. A case under section 143,146,323&307 was registered against them,two days back by the police.Though local Pokice had taken a linient view in this case.But steren action was taken at the instance of State Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal,When he directly intervened into the matter. He directed the SSP kangra to do the needfull within two days. It may be mentioned that this sordid state of affairs intiated by Harish Kapoor to exhibit his might in the town.As a ring leader he,alongwith his accomplices is responsible for this reprehensible action. It so happened that a batch of almost 20 yougnmen reached at Mandir Road two days back.The story goes like that Harish Kapoor allegedly pierced a broken botel in the stomach of Piyush a- local youth . Their ring leader was Harish Kappor,after reaching there, all of them unleashed an assault on Piyush at Mandir Road without any reason.Everybody was taken unawares, This pre-planed assault inflicted injuries in person. The victim was refrred to PGI chandigarh by the doctors of Tanda Medical College. He is in critical condition hanging between life and death.Seven,out of nine accused have been remanded to Judicial costody of 14 days by the court of Sub Judge Dehra. On the other hand Prime accused Harish Kapoor has been granted entrim bail for two days by the Session Judge Dharmshala. SSP kangra conducting the inquiry in this case.He made it clear that no body above the law.
