Chief Justice inaugurated the newly established Court of Civil Judge at Jhandutta

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ravi Malimath, Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Himachal Pradesh today inaugurated the newly established Court of Civil Judge at Jhandutta, District Bilaspur in the august presence of Hon'ble Mr.Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Judge(Special invitee) and Hon'ble Mr.Justice C.B.Barowalia, Administrative Judge of Civil and Sessions Division, Bilaspur. Shri Jeet Ram Katwal, M.L.A. Jhandutta was also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Acting Chief Justice said that keeping aside the huge pendency of cases, the delivery of justice at the doorsteps to the local people of rural area is the main objective behind establishment of Civil Judge Court at Jhandutta. He called upon the Judicial Officers and the Advocates to do their best to provide justice to the litigants of the area.

On this occasion, Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice also planted saplings in the Judicial Court Complex.

With the establishment of Civil Judge Court at Jhandutta, the long cherished demand of the legal fraternity and general public/litigants of Jhandutta has been fulfilled as now they will be relieved from the distant journey to Bilaspur or Ghumarwin, to get justice.

Shri Virender Singh, Registrar General, Shri Rakesh Chaudhary, District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur, other Judicial Officers, Administrative Officers, President, Members of the Bar Association, Advocates and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
