NPCC Chairman calls on Governor

SHIMLA----Chairman and Managing Director of National Projects Construction Corporation (NPCC) Manohar Kumar called on Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhawan, Shimla, today. He gave presentation on national projects before the Governor.

He apprised the Governor that NPCC was a "MINI-RATNA-Category-I" established on 9th January 1957 as a premier construction company to create necessary infrastructure for economic development of the country in the core sectors of irrigation and water resources, power and heavy industries. He said that NPCC comply with Quality management requirements of ISO 9001-2015 for execution of Civil Works for Thermal & Hydro Electric Projects', River Valley Projects, Industrial Structures, Project Management Consultancy services for buildings, Housings, Roads, Bridges and Infrastructure Projects.

He said that in its 58 years of existence the Corporation has successfully associated itself with completion of several National Projects from concept to commissioning stage and some of them in remote and hazardous location over the country. The corporation has also successfully executed several overseas projects and the company could also give its services in development projects in Himachal Pradesh.

The Governor lauded the efforts of the NPCC to create necessary infrastructure for socio economic development of the country.

Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and quality control cell and monitoring central projects (Vigilance) Sanjay Kundu, Advisor to Governor Dr. Shashikant Sharma, and officials of NPCC were also present on the occasion.
