CM urges people to contribute for Armed Flag Day

SHIMLA----Brig. S.K. Verma, Director Sainik Welfare pinned the Flag to the Chief Minister on the occasion of Armed Flag Day here today and Chief Minister contributed towards  this noble cause.

            Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that our valiant soldiers protect the international boundaries of the country in arduous conditions by laying down their lives. He said that keeping in view the topographic condition of the State the Armed Flag Day is being observed from 1st to 31st December, 2018 to enable the people to contribute in this noble cause living in remote areas of the State.

            He urged the people of the State to contribute generously towards this as it would go a long way for helping the serving soldiers, ex-servicemen and their dependents in the hour of need.
