CM pays tributes to freedom fighter Bhai Hirda Ram

SHIMLA---Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today paid floral tributes to noted freedom fighter from Mandi Bhai Hirda Ram on his 133rd birth anniversary by garlanding his statue at Indira Market in Mandi today.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister said that Bhai Hirda Ram was a noted freedom fighter from Mandi district who fought for the sake of the nation.
Chief Minister said that Bhai Hirday Ram shared the prison with Vir Saverkar at Kalapani. He said that the people of the nation and the state were indebted to Bhai Hirday Ram for the sacrifices he made for the motherland.
IPH Minister Mahender Singh, MPP and power Minister Anil Sharma, MP Ram Swaroop Sharma, MLAs Inder Singh Gandhi, Rakesh Jamwal and Vinod Kumar, Chairperson Nagar Parishad Mandi Suman Thakur and people of different walks of life also payed floral tributes to the great freedom fighter.
