Governor offers prayers at Tara Mata Temple

SHIMLA---Governor Acharya Devvrat visited Tara Mata Temple near Shoghi and offered prayers on the occasion of Navratras here today. He was also accompanied by his family members on the occasion.

            In a felicitation message, he said that it was the most celebrated Hindu festival devoted to Goddess Durga symbolizing purity and power or 'shakti'. He hoped that the festival would bring joy and happiness into the lives of people of the State.

            Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Kaul Singh Thakur was also present on the occasion.
