High Court Directed to file response Master Yug Gupta case

SHIMLA----High Court of H.P. today directed state all the concerned respondents to file response on the matter regarding missing boy Master Yug Gupta who had been missing for the past two years.  The Court also directed the Investigating Officer (CID), who is conducting investigation in the case of the said missing boy to file detailed affidavit. The Investigating Officer was also directed be remain present before the Court on next date of hearing.
During hearing it was brought to the notice of the Court by Amicus Curiae the in news papers news is recorded about the recovery of the skeleton of a Shimla boy, namely, Master Yug Gupta from a water tank near Kelston, Shimla. The matter will be now listed before court on 27.09.2016 for further hearing.

A Division Bench comprising the Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and  Jutice Tarlok Singh Chauhan passed these orders on a petition taken up suo moto by the Court as Public Interest Litigation on the news items published in various news paper on 03.01.2016 regarding contaminated water supply in the Shimla city. The news papers reports even suggested that the swage mixed water was being supplied to the residents, which has created an epidemic like situation in the Town. It was also reported that jaundice and other water born diseases are engulfing the people of the town and the number is on the increase day by day.
