NERP campaign launched for rectification of electoral rolls in Himachal Vijyender Sharma SHIMLA--- A Spokesman of Election Department said here today that as per the directions of Election Commission of India, the enrolment of left out eligible voters in the photo electoral rolls, deletion of multiple registrations in electoral rolls and rectification of errors was being done besides replacement of poor quality photographs with latest photograph under National Electoral Rolls Purification (NERP) campaign. The campaign which was launched on 1st March, 2016 would last upto 31st August, 2016. He said that electoral rolls were available on the department website www.ceohimachal.nic.in and link for online submission of data of dead, repeated and shifted voters in electoral rolls voluntarily by citizens and political parties has been provided. He urged the citizens and political parties to take benefit of this facility for deletion of ineligible voters, dead, repeated and shifted voters from the electoral rolls and sought their active cooperation for updation of electoral rolls.
